    I posted most of this on the Facebook site, but some folks do not go there, and with the impending end of the Mage Tower, I thought I would try to help those looking for the Guardian Druid skin.

    When I did this I had the Luffa Wrappings and Elize’s Everlasting Encasement. The Luffa’s extended Thrash’s reach and the Encasement allowed me to put more stacks on the boss in the first phase, not to mention the infernals and ghosts. The goal of phase 1 is to get out of it before more than 3 infernals have spawned. This is because with more than three, the Kruul fight gets even more weird.

    The most important item that I had equipped was Reliquary of the Damned because it gave me another mitigation and a lot of HP and it isn’t a legendary. Archimond’s Hatred will do the same thing but uses a legendary slot. My other trinket was the Eye of Shatug.

    Because I was using Encasement, I took the following talents: Blood Frenzy (more rage more often), Wild Charge, Balance Affinity (you can hit Varies while staying out of DnD), Mighty Bash (Stun Kruul), Galactic Guardian (Moonfire will kill the eyes in phase one), it is a toss up between Guardian of Elune and Survival of the Fittest, and again, because I used Encasement I took Rend and Tear.

    The following is some of the macro’s that I used during the fight, and what each was used for:

    Tormenting Eye – Moonfire will kill the Eyes pretty quickly and allows you to stay closer to Velen.

    Inquisitor Variss – You have to interrupt the Drain Life he does on Velen. Skull bash allows you to charge him and interrupt which also allows you to get close enough to Mangle him.

    Infernals – Thrash will also kill the Infernals, dotting them with Moonfire just accelerates the process. They will respawn, but killing them for a bit removes the knockback for awhile

    Kruul – Krull is stunnable. You can use either Mighty Bash, Skull Bash, or Incapacitating Roar to interrupt Twisted Reflection. If he gets this off, you have to stay away from him or he will heal A LOT. The gold orbs that Velen spawns will remove the debuff and also stun everything. The important thing in this phase is to damage Krull and keep Velen alive. The biggest threat to Velen is the ghosts because they go straight to him unless you damage them somehow and draw their attention. The worst thing that can happen is one of the green puddles showing up under Velen. Lastly, if you are close to killing Kruul, say within 3% and die while still on the asteroid, DO NOT RELEASE, there is a chance that Velen and the DH will kill him. GOOD LUCK!
